Julia was born in Stockholm, Sweden and was bald until 2 years old. Despite earning BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martin’s College and Design and an MFA in the same major from Slade School of Fine Art, in London she still dreams of stuffing a pillow with David Hasselhoff’s chest hair.
Julia possesses all the kinds of narcissistic traits that would have you deported from Sweden, but are welcomed with open arms in USA. Hence, she moved to Los Angeles in 2008, where she currently lives and misbehaves with her two parrots.
Working as a film editor in LA under a fictitious Japanese name for 2 years, she eventually transitioned into photography and digital retouching where she could play and talk people into doing strange things for no money.
When she does not post and reply to questionable craigslist ads or learn about the lives of parasites, she loves to collaborate with creatives across the field, (she most frequently collaborates with the amazing and talented Nic Sadler as SH/Sadler), and is always glad when they reach out to her.
